Lesson packages and gear rentals must be paid in full before beginning the scheduling process. Work starts upon signup, including preparing gear, holding time in our schedule, constantly monitoring winds, communicating with students and even showing up with intentions to give lessons only to have the conditions not cooperate.

Refunds are not provided for lessons, packages or gear rental. We will just keep trying until we get it!

Lesson time starts at the scheduled time. Please arrive early. If you are 2 hours late will forfeit 2 hours of lesson time and the lesson will be canceled.

Lessons typically run about 3 hours and require a minimum of 2 hours. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance; otherwise, 2 hours of lesson time will be forfeited.

Kiteboarding requires careful planning and preparation, especially in this area. We’ll assist prior to scheduling and can recommend and sell gear to help you stay warm, safe and comfortable.

If a lesson is stopped by you, or must end early for safety reasons due to inadequate gear or preparedness, the full lesson time will be deducted from your package.

For water lessons, you’ll need your own wetsuit and personal gear, approved by us for proper fit and local conditions. A $150/hr (1 hr min) Safety Assessment applies for checking outside gear or advising on an outside purchase... waived and up to 2 hr free fitting when you purchase through us (website sale prices not honored for free fittings/all fitted gear sales are final).

Lessons never expire. If you confirm you will never schedule in the future, unused lessons and gear rentals may be converted to store credit. Partially used Block Packages are prorated based on our hourly rate for hours already used.
