Lesson payment is non-Refundable, lesson credit only (or credit only for unused lessons)

Individual lessons are private however WindyCity Kite Sports does reserve the right to combine students during certain exercises that are safe to teach in groups and often benefit from being taught in a group setting. Those may include Ground School Theory and/or Safety Procedures; kite-rigging; and self-rescue technique.

Because our work begins the moment that you sign up and all the organizing is completed before your first lesson; i.e. preparing gear; holding time open in our schedule; constantly monitoring winds; informing students and even showing up with intentions to give lessons only to have the wind not cooperate, lesson packages must be paid for before any scheduling starts and refunds are not given on hourly lesson rates/packages or gear rental. We will just keep trying until we get it!

If for whatever reason, you choose to not continue on with lessons or have unused gear rental on account, a credit will be issued that can be used on anything WindyCity Kite Sports sells.

A minimum of 2 hours per lesson session is required to schedule a lesson. If student needs to cancel scheduled lessons, it must be done at least 24 hours before lesson start time or student will forfeit 2 hours of lesson time.

The clock rolls at your scheduled lesson time so please be early and not late. If you are longer than 2 hours late, your lesson will be canceled and you will forfeit two hours of lesson time.
